The harder you play, the more your feet sweat.
Every time you wear your shoes perspiration from your feet soak into the shoe fibers. Moisture gets trapped beneath the insole and provides an environment for bacteria and mold to breed and flower. The black dots on the underside of the white insole are evidence of mold. The fungus then lead to the deterioration of the fibers that bind the shoe uppers to the sole. Shoe deodorant is not the answer. It his not simply a question of odor. It is a matter of keeping your shoes in good shape, so they last longer. Trapped moisture weakens the fibers, especially those around the foot bed.
Weak fibers break loose. Avoid the problem shown in the lower photo by properly drying your shoes.
DRY your shoes after each practice and game. Remove the inner sole and allow the moisture to evaporate. Air dry.
Do not use heat. Heat weakens shoe adhesive.
Shoe warranty;
• The warranty term for shoes is 30 days and starts when the shoes have been bought.
• When buying the shoes a receipt will be given, without the receipt/buying ticket there is no warranty possible.
• Keep the shoes in a dry area – no damp bags or rooms, and don't dry the shoes on or near a heated source.
• Wear and tear due to a drag move is not a production failure and will therefore not be seen as a warranty issue.
Shoe Care;
It is your responsibility to dry shoes after each use. Remove the insole during drying to allow the shoe to breath for best results. If moisture remains, it can weaken the fibers and cause the shoe to tear. This is a possibility with all foam cushioned turf shoe of any brand.
