Above is the official field hockey mascot for the 2008 Olympic Games. Cute, isn't she? Her name is Yingying and she symbolizes the Tibetan Antelope. Her head dress stands for Earth. Make sure you watch the USA Women compete in Beijing. Many of our athletes will be playing with Dita sticks. Some even started playing field hockey at your age.

Smurfs have been unofficial field hockey mascots in the Olympics. You can still find these little guys, from time to time, on eBay.

Each of our sticks, shown below, is reinforced and durable enough to take all the abuse a new player will subject it to. It takes time to learn the skills required to be an experienced field hockey player and these models are strong enough to to do the job and give good value.
