On wet or dry turf or groomed natural grass it is necessary to stay on one's feet to play the game. Just as ice hockey players must wear skates with well-sharpened blades, so players must wear shoes with smart gripping features on the tread. The shoe needs to know how to keep a player upright during high speed twists, turns, stops and starts. The shoe must also protect a player's feet, ankles, and knees.

Before ordering check your shoe size by referring to the size shown inside a pair of shoes you own. The Euro Size is the most consistent. Dita shoes run small and usually thicker socks or 2 pair are worn so a larger size may be necessary.
